ACE HOTEL BROOKLYN

The Ace Hotel Brooklyn, is a recent project of Roman & Williams.  There is a light-filled room off the lobby as you enter the hotel called “The Garden”.  The light is afforded by the use of a fully glass atrium overhead. It’s a small, intimate space and it required us to think vertically.  We used a robust mix of climbing tropical vines, attached to the walls, large leafed tropicals and sub tropicals.  This is a plant collector's dream, as each of these plants took extensive procurement as they are rare, and old.
